Quick start

Import a podcast, choose a template, customize your site, and publish it.

You can create a first draft before signing up. Set aside your podcast RSS URL and about ten minutes.

1. Import your podcast

Go to castee.fm/start. Paste the RSS feed supplied by your podcast host, or search Apple Podcasts and select the correct show.

Castee imports the show title, description, artwork, episodes, and available podcast-platform links. Confirm the artwork and show name before continuing.

2. Choose a template

Preview the available designs with your podcast content. Pick the layout that best fits your show; you can change colors, sections, content, and navigation later.

3. Customize the site

In the builder:

  1. Edit the hero heading and primary action.
  2. Review the latest episode and episode list sections.
  3. Add or correct subscribe-platform links.
  4. Update the About content and people sections.
  5. Adjust colors and typography.
  6. Preview the homepage on desktop and mobile.

Your draft autosaves. Wait for Saved before closing the page.

4. Create your account

When you are ready to publish, register using the available sign-in method. Castee claims the anonymous draft into your new workspace so you can continue from the same site.

5. Verify ownership

Castee sends a secure link to the podcast owner email found in the RSS feed. Open it to confirm that you are allowed to publish for the show.

If you do not control that address, update it through your podcast host and sync the feed again.

6. Publish

Choose Publish. Your Free site receives an available cst.fm subdomain. Creator and Studio can then connect a custom domain and remove the Castee badge.
