Preview, publish & rollback

Preview changes, publish a static website, troubleshoot releases, and roll back safely.

Publishing creates a new static version of your site and serves it through Castee’s global CDN.

Before publishing

  • Sign in and make sure the draft belongs to your workspace.
  • Complete podcast ownership verification.
  • Stay within your plan’s published-site limit.
  • Check desktop and mobile preview.
  • Test navigation, audio, forms, subscribe links, and external links.
  • Review the domain and SEO settings.

Preview a draft

Choose Preview in the builder. Castee renders the current saved draft through the same core renderer used for publishing, but at a temporary preview destination. Preview does not replace the public release.

Publish

Choose Publish and keep the dashboard open until the job is accepted. Castee builds the pages, validates the output, uploads a new version, makes it current, and refreshes routing and cache information.

A typical podcast site publishes quickly, but large image sets or temporary service delays can take longer. Avoid clicking Publish repeatedly.

Published address

Every eligible site can use a yourshow.cst.fm address. Creator and Studio sites can connect a custom domain. Free releases include the Powered by Castee badge.

Roll back

Each publish is a separate, immutable release. If a change is wrong:

  1. Open the site’s publish history.
  2. Find the last known-good release.
  3. Choose Rollback and confirm.
  4. Check the live address after the cache refresh.

Rollback changes which existing release is current; it does not overwrite or rebuild that release.
