Edit site SEO
Open Sites → your site → SEO. Set the site title and default description, verify the sharing image, and review the checklist for missing information. Page and episode editors provide more specific metadata where supported.
Write useful metadata
- Keep each page title unique and lead with the topic listeners search for.
- Describe the page accurately instead of repeating keywords.
- Give episode pages descriptive names beyond an episode number.
- Use headings to organize content in a logical order.
- Add meaningful alternative text to informative images.
Structured data and sitemaps
Castee adds machine-readable podcast data and includes published URLs in the sitemap. Republish after changing important titles, URLs, or SEO settings so the generated files update.
Migrate existing URLs
If you are replacing another website, create redirects before changing DNS. Map every valuable old URL to its closest new destination; do not send every old page to the homepage.
