Is Castee a podcast host?
No. Keep your existing podcast host and RSS feed. Castee turns that content into a website and keeps it synchronized.
Can I try Castee without an account?
Yes. Import a podcast, choose a template, and start building. Create an account and verify podcast ownership when you are ready to publish.
Where do I manage my site?
Use dash.castee.fm for sites, podcasts, the builder, analytics, billing, and settings. castee.fm is the public product site and starting flow.
Podcast content
Where do episode details come from?
The RSS feed supplies titles, descriptions, audio, artwork, and publish dates. Castee syncs feed changes and creates website episode pages from them.
Will editing my website change the RSS feed?
No. Website-specific content remains in Castee and is not written back to your podcast host.
Why is a new episode missing?
Confirm it appears in the public RSS feed, run Sync now, and republish if automatic republishing is not enabled.
Building and publishing
Are changes published immediately?
No. Builder edits autosave to a draft. Preview the draft, then publish when it is ready.
Why is Publish unavailable?
You may need to sign in, verify the podcast, wait for the latest change to save, or free a published-site slot allowed by your plan.
Can I undo a publish?
Yes. Select an earlier release in publish history and roll back. The old release remains unchanged.
Can I use custom HTML or CSS?
Castee uses structured sections rather than arbitrary page HTML. Creator and Studio include section-level custom CSS and consent-aware custom head/body scripts for advanced needs.
Domains
Do I get a free web address?
Yes. An eligible published site can use an available yourshow.cst.fm subdomain.
Which plans support custom domains?
Creator and Studio. HTTPS is provisioned after the required DNS record verifies.
Does Castee include email hosting?
No. Keep email with your domain registrar or email provider.
Plans and billing
Can I stay on Free?
Yes. Free includes one published site and one podcast, unlimited episodes, pages, traffic, and bandwidth, plus a fixed Powered by Castee badge.
What happens when paid access ends?
Paid-only settings and extra content stay saved but become unavailable. Choose which eligible site remains published on Free; other published sites may be taken offline until you upgrade or reduce usage.
Can Creator add more websites?
Yes. Creator includes three and supports extra websites for $5 per month each. Studio includes unlimited websites.
Privacy and security
Are forms protected from spam?
Castee uses server-side validation, origin and rate checks, honeypots, timing checks, and spam screening. No protection catches every message, so review submissions before acting on them.
Can team members share one login?
Studio should invite each collaborator with an appropriate role. Sharing sign-in access makes it harder to remove a person or understand who changed something.
